Three persons commit suicide in Rajasthan

Three persons, including a 25-year-old woman, allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in separate incidents in the city, police said today.
In the first case, 25-year-old Nisha, a resident of Purana Raipura was found hanging yesterday afternoon by her father Jamnalal Dhobi.
Nisha, an MSc degree holder, allegedly hanged herself from the ceiling fan in her room yesterday, while her family members were away, Udhyognagar Police Station ASI Prakesh Chand said today, adding that she was immediately rushed to a hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead.
The deceased was reportedly upset over her marriage prospects. However, no suicide note was recovered from her possession, ASI Prakesh Chand said.
A case under section 174 of CrPC has been registered in this regard, and further investigation into the matter is going on. The body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem yesterday, he said.
In a separate incident, Basant Kumar Meena (35), a resident of Sarswati colony here allegedly hanged himself in his room yesterday, Railway Colony Police Station ASI Rafik Mohammed said.
Meena was apparently upset over his ill-health. The body was handed over to the family members after postmortem today.
The third suicide case is from Indira Nagar area here, where a 22-year-old youth identified as Ranjeet Bharadwaj was found hanging from a window of an under construction building yesterday, Anantpura police station personnel Narayan Singh said.
The deceased, who hailed from Gorakhpur district in Uttar Pradesh was working as a painter under a contractor here.
Police said that Ranjeet refused to go home on Saturday night after his work came to an end. When the contractor reached the site yesterday morning, he found Ranjeet hanging from the window.
The family members of the deceased labourer were informed of the incident and post-mortem would be carried out after their arrival in Kota today, police said.
