"We are targeting to sell 30,000 units of lunch boxes per month by end of this year," the company's CEO, Vashisht Vasanthakumar, told reporters here today.
He said the company sold 10,000 units of 'Vaya Tyffyn' last month with main concentration of market in southern and western parts of the country.
Ever since the company rolled out its range of lunch boxes in 2016, it has sold about 1 lakh lunch boxes, he said.
The company claimed to have new generation lunch boxes which are hi-tech vacuum-insulated, designed to keep food hot for up to four to six hours.
These are available in two categories - 1000 ml (3 containers) and 600 ml (2 containers) in the range of Rs 1,890 to Rs 3,800 with eight different variants.
"We are rolling out our products in Punjab and Chandigarh markets from today as these are big market for us" he said while adding that the company was targeting middle and upper middle class for its products.
"Chandigarh is an extremely exciting destination for our brand. We find customers here are not just appreciative of food but also in tune with the latest trends. With retail presence across multiple cities in India and abroad, we now also set foot in Chandigarh which is part of our geographical expansion strategy. Chandigarh is one of the key economic centres in north India," he said.
