Tight movements in steel prices, settles at previous level

Steady conditions persisted at the steel market in the national capital today as prices continued to move in a narrow range in the absence of worthwhile activity and settled at last levels.
Traders said absence of worthwhile activity from construction units in view of adverse weather conditions kept steel prices at previous levels.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 38,000, 10-mm Rs 36,200, 12-mm Rs 35,600, 16-25 mm Rs 35,600.
