TN launches coop projects worth over Rs 180 crore

Tamil Nadu government today said various projects in the cooperative sector totalling over Rs 180 crore had been launched recently.
Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa launched the facilities through video conferencing from here recently, a state government release said today.
These included storage godowns at Tuticorin, Sivaganga, Tirunelveli, Tiruppur and Villupuram, among others, it said.
Office buildings, branches of Cooperative banks and digitised weighing machines for ryots' produce were also launched by the Chief Minister, it said.
