Trader robbed of Rs five lakh at gun point

A trader was today robbed Rs five lakh at gun point by armed miscreants from Mewalal Chowk in Bihar's Purnia district, a police officer said.
The Madhepura district-based trader Bablu Chowdhury was riding on a rickshaw with his partner Shyam Chandra Sen towards the bus stand when the miscreants riding on four bikes intercepted him and snatched the bag containing cash at gun point, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Ajit Satyarthi said.
A case has been lodged in this connection and raids were being carried out to nab the culprits, he said.
