The comments, which can be send till May 8, will help in identifying issues related to 'ease of doing business' before going for an elaborate consultation later, the TRAI said in a release.
The telecom regulator said a number of steps have already been taken for 'ease of doing business' in the broadcasting sector.
The TRAI, however, said the sector has "immense potential" for growth if more conducive business environment is created by simplifying the provisions of policy and regulatory framework.
