 "Train attender rapes 16-year-old girl")
The attender grabbed the 16-year-old girl who was waiting with her mother on the platform at Kishanganj and hauled her forcibly inside the slowly moving Garib Nawaz Express heading for New Jalpaiguri station before its journey to Ajmer Sharif, the sources said.
The girl, after being raped inside the train, managed to escape from her tormentor and made her way to the compartment exit and hung on to a rod outside, the sources said.
Railway sources said that the station master of Magurjal station saw the girl hanging outside the running train and brought it to a stop.
The attender was arrested on the girl's complaint.
