The 40-year-old actor, best known for playing Sheldon Cooper in 'The Big Bang Theory', will be hosting the NBC chat show when it returns on March 1, reported Ace Showbiz.
The actor will be joined by Beck, who will return for his seventh appearance as musical guest.
The alternative rock singer-songwriter will be promoting his upcoming album 'Morning Phase', which is due to release on February 25.
The upcoming new episode will also mark Colin Jost's debut as a 'Weekend Update' co-anchor. He will sit behind the desk with Cecily Strong, replacing Seth Meyers, who will begin hosting 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' on February 24.
