Deputy Proctor Swasti Alpana, against whom the allegations were raised, said she mistook the trainee journalist for a Delhi University Student's Union (DUSU) member, who was clicking her photographs without her permission.
"I remember all regular journalists who visit the campus and this one was not carrying any identity card and I mistook her for DUSU member who was trying to click my photographs without my permission," Alpana said.
Another journalist who witnessed the entire incident alleged that despite informing them about our identity, two deputy proctors including Swasti Alpana never stopped heckling at the trainee journalist.
The DUSU today visited dean's office demanding ways to resolve issue of 400 final year B.Com. Students who had failed in Computer Applications practical examination.
After the discussions, the members of the students' union allegedly broke flower pots and vandalised the property for delaying the issue.
