Reznor, frontman of rock band Nine Inch Nails, confirmed about the duo's collaboration on Twitter.
"... And yes, Atticus and I are scoring David Fincher's upcoming 'Gone Girl'!," he posted on the micro-blogging website.
Reznor and Ross had earlier worked on 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo', also directed by Fincher, and won a Grammy nomination for best original score for their work.
Fincher helmed 'Gone Girl', starring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Tyler Perry and Neil Patrick Harris, is a mystery-thriller drama based on a novel of same name.
