British motorcycle brand Triumph Motorcycles today opened a dealership in the city, company's sixth in the country, and rolled out its entire product range of 11 models, priced between Rs 6.39-23.05 lakh.
The British iconic brand had entered the domestic market last November with 10 class models across 5 broad categories.
"Our focus has been to align presence across all the strategic locations, where we are assured to gain competitive advantage and generate strong brand eminence and Mumbai is a key market in that respect," Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Vimal Sumbly said.
"Triumph Motorcycles success globally is built on customer service and the opening of a dealership-- Shaman Triumph-- in Mumbai further strengthens company's commitment to not only better establish the Triumph marquee in the local market but more importantly, to extend a comprehensive suite of after sales services and support to our esteemed customers," Sumbly added.
The growth of Triumph Motorcycles in India will continue to emphasize on firmly establishing a rewarding ownership experience and extending superior after-sales service, which ultimately underlines customer satisfaction, he said adding that the company has seen 350 bookings since November last year.
Triumph Motorcycles already has dealerships in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune and Ahmedabad.
With distinct model families, including classic, cruiser, super sports, roadster and adventure segments, Triumph is looking to create a niche with its competitive pricing and product offerings, he said.
The company plans to set up three more dealerships- Delhi, Chennai and Kolakata as part of the next phase of expansion by this year, he said.
"The philosophy with which we operate is in tandem with the ethos of Triumph Motorcycles and customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to both of us. We are looking forward to a long and mutually rewarding collaboration with the brand," Shaman Triumph dealer principle Amar Seth said.
Triumph Motorcycles sells 11 models in the domestic market--Bonneville, Bonneville T100, Bonneville Thruxton, Street Triple, Speed Triple, Tiger 800 XC, Tiger Explorer, Daytona 675, Daytona 675 R, Thunderbird Storm and Rocket.
While the Tiger Explorer, Daytona 675 R, Thunderbird Storm and Rocket are being imported as completely-built units, the rest of the models are assembled at company's Manesar CKD facility in Haryana.
