Rao would organise a joint meeting of party's polit bureau, MLAs, district unit presidents and other party functionaries on August 24, 25 and 26, the party said in a release here today.
The TRS chief has been maintaining that he was assured by the "Central leaders in Delhi" on formation of Telangana once the Vice-Presidential election (which was held on August 7) is over.
"If they give Telangana, fine. Otherwise, we will fight the war. There is no debate in this," Rao told a gathering yesterday.
The former Union Minister also indicated yesterday that his party would wait for another four or five days before launching the statehood agitation in a big way.
