Anil Kumar Singhal, Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), that governs the cash rich hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara here has said the temple in Kurukshetra, Haryana would probably be opened in April while the other one in Kanyakumari in neighbouring Tamil Nadu could be inaugurated in May.
The shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Kanyakumari is being built at a cost of Rs 22.60 cr on a sprawling site allotted by Vivekananda Trust while the other shrine in Kurukshetra is being constructed at an outlay of 34.60 crores on a site allotted by the Haryana government, he said.
