Two civilians, who worked at an Army canteen, were detained in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district allegedly after a Pakistani contact number was found in their mobile phones, officials said on Friday.
Mohan Lal (43) and Amit Dikshit (20), both residents of Rajasthan, were detained on Thursday by intelligence personnel at Bari Brahmana military station, where they were working for many years, the officials said.
"Two people were handed over to police by the Army and we are investigating the matter... we cannot say anything till the facts are out," Samba Senior Superintendent of Police Shakti Kumar Pathak told PTI.
