Two arrested for theft at SP leader's house

Police today claimed to have solved the case of theft that took place at the residence of SP leader Aatma Prakash Shukla with the arrest of two persons.
The robbery at Shukhla's residence in Yashoda Nagar area was carried out on February 12 when the Samajwadi Party leader along with his family had gone to a wedding ceremony.
Gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs besides, cash and mobile phones had been stolen from the house, police said.
Police arrested a man and his nephew, who stay in the same neighbourhood, and recovered Rs 10,000 and some of the stolen jewellery from them.
However, their accomplice, Dinesh Prajapati, is still on the run.
