Abhilasha Yadav (11) and her brother Abhishek (9) had gone missing from a field yesterday, assistant sub-inspector Ratan Tiwari of Lakhanwada police station said. Their father Gopal Yadav had lodged a police complaint.
"We got some clues suggesting that the kids might have ventured into the well but could find them yesterday," Tiwari said. "We emptied the well and fished out bodies today."
Further investigation is on, he said.
