The incident occurred at Savarkhed farm when a group of youths entered the water in a bid to get respite from the scorching heat, according to police.
Police said that Ishaq Sheikh (19) and Abhinav Sen (20), both residents of Nashik, drowned as they failed to gauge the depth of water, whereas their friends swam to safety.
While Sheikh's body was fished out last evening itself, Sen's body is yet to be traced, police said.
