Two drunk students arrested for beating up senior in college

The first year graduation students, who are members of the student union SFI, were found drinking in the college corridor by Prakash Bardhan, general secretary of Chatra Parishad - the Trinamool Congress run union.

Police said when confronted by Bardhan, he was badly beaten up and had to be admitted to Siliguri Hospital.

The duo were arrested by the police while the college authorities said if the medical reports prove that they were drinking in the college then action would be taken against them.
