Shamshad Alam, a labourer from Bihar's Champaran, was brought to sub-district Hospital Pattan by other labourers where he was declared dead on arrival, they said.
Alam was working at the ITI Pattan in Baramulla district, he said, adding that a probe has been initiated under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death.
Meanwhile, body of Yountan Nurboo, a resident of Choglamsar in Leh, was found hanging from a tree at the forest in Bagh near Choglamsar bridge, police said.
