Two hand grenades found abandoned in Phagwara

Two hand grenades were found abandoned near a water tank at Panchhat village of the district, police said today.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Manpreet Singh Dhillon said the grenades were rusty and seemed to be 20-22 years old.
He said the grenades were found lying near the water tank yesterday following which a bomb disposal squad was called to diffuse them.
