As soon as informant Shashi Bhushan Singh and Manjit Singh, who was eyewitness in the case, entered the court premise to appear before a judge in connection with the trial, the assailants hurled two bombs from the roof of the two-storied court building, Additional Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar said.
While Manjit Singh escaped unhurt, his police guard Yogendra Yadav and Shashi Bhushan Singh sustained injuries. The two were taken to a hospital.
Attempt on the life of the two had taken place earlier too.
They had to appear in connectin with the July 2011 attack on the house of late RJD MP Umashankar Singh in Saran district. Gunmen had fired indiscriminately killing three persons -- Devendra Singh, Manibhushan Singh and Dinesh Roy.
