Kamta Prasad Pal and his son Ajay Kumar Pal, named in the FIR filed in the murder of Gram Pradhan Nanhe Yadav, surrendered before the CBI at their camp office in Kunda and are being interrogated, CBI sources said.
With today's surrender only one accused, Ajit Kumar Singh, in the FIR filed in connection with the murder of the Pradhan is yet to be nabbed, sources said.
The CBI had yesterday taken two other accused, said to be close aides of former UP minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, to the spot of the crime and quizzed them intensively.
The CBI is investigating the killing of the DSP, the village head and his brother Suresh in Balipur village on March 2.
The CBI has registered four cases pertaining to the three murders and has booked Raja Bhaiya in one of the cases for murder on the complaint by Haq's wife.
On March 2, the DSP was murdered when he had gone to Balipur village on getting the information of murder of the village pradhan.
