Two persons were killed and 15 others injured, seven of them seriously, when a bus carrying picnickers collided with a dumper in Cuttack district on Friday, police said.
The mishap took place near Kandarpur when the bus carrying picnickers from Bhubaneswar to Paradip collided with the dumper coming from the opposite direction, they said.
The driver of the dumper died on the spot, while the bus helper succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital, police said.
The injured were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital here. Doctors said the condition of seven of the injured was serious.
