Two killed, 18 injured in vehicle collision near Chaksu

Two persons were killed and eighteen others injured when a commander jeep in which they were travelling rammed into a truck at Kothun village near Chaksu today, police said.
The incident occurred about noon when 20 people of a joint family were going to Sandel town in the jeep for offering "bhat" at a wedding ceremony, police said.
The deceased, a man and woman, who were killed on the spot are yet to be identified, the police said.
Thirteen seriously injured persons were referred to the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Sanganger town near Jaipur and five were admitted in Chaksu, they said.
