The two LeT militants -- Irshad Ahmad Dar of Narkara village and Fayaz Ahmad Paul of Ompora area in the district -- were arrested in a joint operation of police and 35 Rashtriya Rifles, a police spokesman said.
During questioning, the duo revealed that they were planning to target security forces, police and other vital government installations in the coming days, the spokesman claimed.
The spokesman said the two militants were involved in grenade attacks on security forces at Hyderpora and Ompora localities.
The grenades used in the attacks were procured from Sopore town of north Kashmir and militants were given cash rewards for carrying out the attacks, he said.
