Beginning February 7, the second edition of the three-day festival is being organized at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts here.
This year the event is paying tribute to well-known Hindi writer Rajendra Yadav, who passed away recently. Yadav was most known for pioneering the Nayi Kahani Movement in Hindi Literature.
"Namvar Singh, a close associate of Rajendra Yadav along with Ajit Kumar Chaudhary and Nirmala Jain will share their personal experiences with the veteran writer who no longer lives between us," organisers said in a statement.
A session on February 8 would look into the world of Persian publishing, its history and form.
Focusing on its three major elements - illumination (illustrations), decoration (graphics) and calligraphy (art of writing), Iranian artists are set to participate in a session titled the "Art of Book Making."
A dramatic reading by Rehaan Engineer, from his yet to be published novel, "Mutilator" written by Prajna Desai, an art critic and writer is also lined up.
Other eminent speakers include Mr. Mushirul Hasan, Rakhshanda Jalil, Rosalyn D'Mello, Samit Basu, Abhimanyu Sisodia and many more.
Meanwhile the second leg of the Hindu Lit for Life 2014 is set to be held here at the Siri Fort Auditorium on February 8.
A smorgasbord of literature, music, drama, culture and comedy is in store at the event.
The day is scheduled to begin with 'A Walk Through Humayun's Tomb' in collaboration with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture.
A talk by humourist Anuvab Pal is set to conclude the festival.
