Two live mortar shells recovered in Samba

Police has recovered two live mortar shells in a village along the International Border (IB) in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Two live mortar shells were recovered by police in Chilyari village in Samba district yesterday, police said today.
A bomb disposal squad of the police along with the local police rushed to the spot and difused the bombs safely, they said.
The bombs were found by a local resident, who later informed the police which difused the bombs, they said.
The bombs must have been fired from across the border by the Pakistan Rangers during the recent ceasefire violation on the International Border (IB), they said.
