Police have earlier arrested one person and are also on the lookout of another absconder.
While Sheikh Sakeel (23) and Asit Das (24) were arrested yesterday, Sheikh Sona (25) was arrested last week, they said adding the weapon of offence and four live bullets were seized from Sakeel's possession.
The motive behind the murder of the trader Mohammed Farooq inside the godown was his refusal to pay extortion money of Rs 30 lakh and the extortion calls were made from nearby Choudwar circle jail, they said.
