Justices Huluvadi G Ramesh and Rajiv Shakdher had been transferred from the Allahabad and Delhi high courts respectively on April 6. They were sworn in by the Chief Justice at 10.00 AM today.
Justice Ramesh, a native of Karnataka, had joined the Karnataka Judicial service as district judge on Feb 2,1993 and was promoted to District Judge on June 23,2000.
He was appointed Additional Judge of Karnataka High Court on September 8 2003 and made permanent Judge on Sept 24 2004. He was transferred to Allahabad High Court on Feb 16, 2015.
He was appointed Additional Judge of Delhi High Court on April 11 2008 and became permanent Judge on October 17 2011 to Madras High Court.
Justice Ramamohana Rao was the third judge transferred to the high court. However, it is not yet known when he will be sworn in.
