Two poachers arrested, deer meat seized

Forest officials arrested two persons and seized five kgs of deer meat from their possession in Sathyamangalam forest area in the district, officials said.
Officials on patrol duty in Kongarpalayam found four persons roaming with a gun and knives inside the forest area yesterday and on a check they found deer meat inside a gunny bag.
While two of them were arrested the others fled away, they said.
