Police officer Deepa Khare and witness Tahir Khan recorded their statements before judge Rajiv Kumar Ayachi.
Defence lawyer Sunil Shrivastava said that Deepa was posted with CBI on deputation and in her presence three cell phones found in the office of the main accused Zahida Pervez were seized. Also, the handwriting samples of co-accused Saba Faroqui were collected in her presence.
Khan, earlier produced as a prosecution witness, has turned hostile. Today, while testifying on alleged phone conversation between Danger (one of the accused) and another person about the murder, he did not back CBI's case, the lawyer said.
Shehla was shot dead in front of her house in Bhopal on August 16, 2011.
