Two women hacked to death
were hacked to death at their home in Maheshtala area of South 24 Parganas district this evening, the police said.
Shibani De (55) and her niece Piu Naha (22) were killed by a group of miscreants who raided their Hayatpur home at about 8 pm.
The police suspect that a love affair involving Piu, who recently concluded a nursing training, could be the reason behind the killing. PTI COR
