other persons injured today in a collision between a tractor and a truck on NH-2 in Bihar's Rohtas district, a police officer said.
The mishap took place as a truck rammed into a tractor that lost control and overturned to fatally trap two of its occupants underneath, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Krishna Kumar Singh said.
The deceased were identified as Prabhawati Devi (40), a native of Jharkhand's Chatra district and Neelam Devi (45) of Buxer district.
Four other occupants of the tractor sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital.
The truck driver managed to escape leaving behind the vehicle.
