Two-year-old boy and his mother electrocuted to death

Two people, including a two-year-old boy and a woman were electrocuted, after they came into contact with a live electric wire at S C Colony in Hanuman Junction of Krishna district here today.
H Junction Circle Inspector Y V Ramana said that a branch of a tree fell on a high tension wire and snapped it.
The electric wire fell on the house of the deceased.
One of those who died S Akhil Babu (2) came into contact with the wire and was electrocuted. After his maternal aunt K Rajyalakshmi (30) went to rescue the boy, she too got electrocuted.

S Devamatha, the mother of the deceased boy, sustained burn injuries in the incident.
The police has registered a case.
