H Junction Circle Inspector Y V Ramana said that a branch of a tree fell on a high tension wire and snapped it.
The electric wire fell on the house of the deceased.
One of those who died S Akhil Babu (2) came into contact with the wire and was electrocuted. After his maternal aunt K Rajyalakshmi (30) went to rescue the boy, she too got electrocuted.
The police has registered a case.
