Udayjit takes lead at Tata Steel junior golf

Udayjit Bhalotia took the lead on the opening round of the Tolly Juniors Cup, the fifth leg of the Tata Steel IGU East Zone Sub-Junior Tour here today.
Son of former top Indian professional Indrajit Bhalotia, Udyajit made four birdies en route to an even-par 71 and led by four shots over Rohit Kumar Bouri and Shamim Edu in the top category (A and B).
Sharif Khan was fourth at 77 while Rahul Dey was fifth at 78. Nishkarsh Sachdeva was sixth at 79 along with Sumant Lenka.
Sandeep Kumar Yadav led Category C with Pratham Choudhary in the second place at 83.

Arav Shanghavi topped in Catgeory D while Pranshu Poddar was second.
In the girls category, it was Susnata Deb who led the field with Marshneil Prasad trailing her by eight shots for second place.

Yashodhara Bhalotia emerged the leader in Girls C category while Aahana Kapoor led in D category.
Gurmehr Singh Bindra led in the E class which was played over nine holes.
