With the stage of the Ultimate Fighting Championship set for the fight night this weekend here, McGregor, who will take on Chad Mendes, is already talking about his victory and his will to fight Mayweather next.
"(Mayweather was) 145 Pounds against (Manny) Pacquiao and my fight is 145 Pounds. If you're asking would I love to fight Floyd? Who would not love to dance around the ring for USD 180 million? It is something that would appeal to me very much.
Mayweather, who won the much-hyped welterweight bout against Pacquiao on points, was stripped off his world title after he failed to meet the deadline last Friday for paying USD 200,000 sanctioning fee required by the WBO post the clash on May 2 here.
McGregor will take on Mendes at the famous MGM Grand Garden Arena, the venue of many historic fights including the Mike Tyson and Evander Hiolyfield ear-biting punch off, on Sunday.
