UHBVN JE arrested for taking bribe
The JE, identified as Satpal Singh and posted at Karnal office of the UHBVN, was arrested by Haryana State Vigilance Bureau on the complaint of one Sujit Singh.
Singh, a resident of Panyot in Karnal district, had alleged that the official had demanded money for preparation of file for installation of new transformer, the spokesperson said.
A case under relevant section of Prevention of Corruption Act have been registered against the accused in Bureau police station at Rohtak.
