Union minister Chandresh faces debacle on Jodhpur seat

Congress candidate and Union minister Chandresh Kumari Katoch could not retain her Jodhpur Lok Sabha seat and got defeated by BJP's new face Gajendra Singh Shekhawat by a landslide margin of 4,10,051.
Shekhawat secured 7,13,575 votes, whereas Kumari got 3,03,464 votes.
She belongs to Himachal Pradesh and brought to Jodhpur by Ashok Gehlot and ex-royal Gajsingh in the last Lok Sabha polls in 2009.
