Unmanned Mynamarese bamboo boat found off Nagai coast
An unmanned boat bearing Myanmar flag was found off Nagapattinam coast Saturday, police said.
Some fishermen found the vessel and brought it near the shore at Samanthanpettai andinformed Nagapattinam coastal security group police.
The boat is made ofbambooand has a blue-tiled roof structure resembling that of a Myanmarese temple, police said.
It contained eight small idols of Lord Buddha and a few poojaarticles.
