UP BJP to come up with "blood donor directory" soon

The BJP's UP unit will prepare "blood donor directory", as part of the centenary celebrations of RSS ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
"Since during an emergency it becomes difficult to locate a blood donor, the directory would prove to be an asset to all," BJP state general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak told reporters in Vrindaban today.
In every district, a list of 100 donors would be complied with their blood tested and theirdetails would become part of the directory, he said.
According to Pathak, the responsibility to maintain it would be given to an activist of BJP whose details would be available with the hospitals.

The party has decided to organise a blood donation cum blood testing camp on Aug 9, he said adding that prior to it, about 1500 blood testingcamps would be organised in the state between Aug 1 to Aug 7.
