UP CM suspends 4 forest dept staff

Taking note of illegal felling of trees, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today suspended four forest department staff in Rampur.
The Chief Minister has suspended range forest officer S P Singh, clerk Rajvir Singh, forest guard Sompal and section officer Ramnath, a forest department statement said.
Yadav has also directed disciplinary action against the divisional forest officer, B C Brahma, the statement said, adding officials have been warned of stern action in cases of laxity.
