The Uttar Pradesh government transferred director information Anuj Kumar Jha to Bulandshahr as district magistrate in a late night administrative shake-up involving 35 IAS officers.
Mathura municipal commissioner Ujjwal Kumar will replace Jha, a 2009-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
Other significant changes include transfer of Chanchal Kumar Tiwari, who was additional chief secretary Panchayati Raj, as additional chief secretary, revenue.
Suresh Chandra, who was principal secretary, revenue, will now be principal secretary, labour and employment.
Raj Mani Yadav, special secretary, Panchayati Raj, has been posted as secretary, irrigation and water resources, while Sharad Kumar Singh will be the new secretary for sports and youth welfare.
Vaibhav Srivastava, who was the vice-chairperson of Gorakhpur Development Authority, will now be special secretary, transport, an official release said.
