"It is rightly being said that BJP is 'Bakwas Jumla Party' (nonsense remarks party). Its leaders say anything that comes to their mind," Yadav said during discussion on the bill.
The Minister's remarks came after Leader of Opposition Sushil Kumar Modi hit out at the government for waiving three per cent additional duty on companies having an annual turnover of Rs 250 crore and alleged it would benefit just one company in the state and would raise doubts on the intentions of the government.
"The minister should take back the remark, otherwise the session will not run. He has disrespected the dignity of the House. It should be withdrawn or else it will be difficult for us to sit in the House," Modi said.
As the Chairman proceeded with the tabling of other bills brought by the government and did not instruct the minister to take back the remarks, BJP legislators trooped into the Well of the House.
They raised anti-government slogans, tried to disrupt the proceedings and engaged in verbal duel with ministers and ruling JD(U) legislators. The legislators also sought the resignation of Yadav.
Though the House again met, BJP legislators continued their demand after which the session was adjourned till tomorrow noon.
