UPSHRC registers case against govt officials for water-crisis

Besides registering the case, Commission member Justice (retd) Vishnu Sahai also issued show cause notices to the officers to explain their stand on the prevailing water crisis, official sources said.

The panel had taken cognisance of report published in a local newspaper, they said.

The officers were asked to remain present on July 6 when the Commission will hear the case.
