Soybean prices moved up by 0.44 per cent to Rs 3,399 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators raised their bets amid uptick in demand at the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean for delivery in far-month October rose by Rs 15, or 0.44 per cent to Rs 3,399 per quintal with an open interest of 10,450 lots.
