"The USA is interested in developing business environment and better education in Jharkhand," Powell said in her address to department heads during a visit to the Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited here.
Stating that one of the major aims of her visit to the state was for betterment of Indo-US relationship, she said that India has developed a lot and could co-operate in the development of USA in many areas.
After watching a brief presentation about the company and new areas of collaboration, Powell stressed on commercial development of shale gas, 'which might be the game changer for India's energy scenario'.
The US was particularly interested in the Indian business community wanting to invest in the USA, the Head of Department (Public Relations-CMPDI), Sanjay Kumar Dubey, said in a press release here.
