US women's soccer team sues federation for discrimination

The US women's national team filed a discrimination lawsuit against the US Soccer Federation (USSF) on Friday, just three months before defending the Women's World Cup title.

All 28 members of the US women's squad were parties to the lawsuit filed in federal court in Los Angeles seeking equal pay and working conditions to their less-successful male counterparts.
