As many as 17 persons including Vice Chancellor, deans and head of the departments of a university here have been booked by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in connection with alleged irregularities in recruitment of seven teachers in the varsity.
The ACB found irregularities in appointment of seven teachers and also registered cases against them as well as members of the scrutiny committee of Jai Narayan Vyas University.
"We have registered case against 17 persons including Vice Chancellor Bhanwar Singh Rajpurohit, deans and head of the departments, member of scrutiny committee and seven candidates, who had been given appointment in violation of the rules and regulations," said acting DIG (ACB) Narpat Singh Rathore.
