Veteran BJP leader Hari Kumar Audichya passes away

Veteran BJP leader and former state education minister Hari Kumar Audichya has passed away at his residence in Tipta area here.
Audichya (84), was suffering from cancer for a long time.
The former minister in Bhairon Singh Shekhawat-led BJP government in 1980 passed away last evening, family sources said.
He was cremated at Kishorpura cremation ground today.
Audichya's nephew offered 'the Mukhagani' to the late BJP leader, a bachelor.
Born on August 14, 1930, Audichya joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in 1946 and devoted his later life in establishing Jansangh and RSS in Hadoti region, in south-eastern region of the state.
Audichya had served at several key political positions in the party as well as in the government.
