Vidarbha, who finished with six points after the pool stage, would clash with hot favourites and Pool-B toppers Mumbai in the final to be played on May 28 after tomorrow's rest day.
The winners of Monday's summit contest would progress to the inter zonal round of the National Championship whose dates and venue are yet to be decided by Indian Hockey Federation.
For Vidarbha, Sushil Kumar netted twice, while Rahul Kalakoti and Shahbaz Pathan added the other two goals while Vijay R Rajbar got the lone goal for Baroda.
Later, in another match of the same pool, Pune DHA got the better of Rural Maharashtra by a narrow 4-3 margin for their second win.
In an inconsequential Group-B match played in the morning, Dadra and Nagar Haveli got the better of Maharashtra by a 3-2 margin.
Swapnil Shinde, Pranav Mane and Rajendra Yadav were on target for the winners, while skipper Rahul Deokar got both the goals for the losers.
